How It Works for SELLERS in North America

Information for Sellers

Want to sell on Curvy Missfits Closet? Here’s how the seller process works from account creation to sale. Please review our Prohibited Items Policy before submitting your listing. All listings are reviewed prior to approval; link provided below.

Step 1: Create Your Account and Set Up Payments

Before you can sell on Curvy Missfits Closet, you need to create an account. Creating an account helps us keep the marketplace organized, safer, and connected to real people. Curvy Missfits Closet is built for real sellers, real closets, and real plus-size fashion.

After you create your account, you will also be prompted to set up a Stripe account so you can receive payment for your closet sales. You can choose to complete your Stripe setup right away, or you can return to it later. However, Stripe must be set up before buyers can complete a purchase from your closet.

If someone is interested in your listing and tries to complete a purchase before your Stripe setup is finished, the transaction will not be able to go through.

Curvy Missfits Closet uses Stripe to help process payments securely and send seller payouts directly to the bank account connected to the seller’s Stripe account.

Step 2: Wait for Admin Approval

After your account is created, it must be approved by Curvy Missfits Closet before you can create listings.

This approval process helps us build a more intentional resale community. It also helps reduce spam, bots, fake accounts, and listings that do not fit the purpose of the marketplace.

Curvy Missfits Closet is designed to be a trusted space for plus-size resale, so admin approval helps protect the quality of the marketplace for both sellers and shoppers.

Step 3: Create Your Listings

Once your account is approved, you can begin creating listings for pre-loved plus-size fashion in sizes Large–6X.

Please Note: There is no listing fees!!!

Each listing should include clear photos, the correct size, brand if known, condition, colour, item details, and price. Sellers set their own item prices. When pricing your item, consider the brand, condition, original price, style, demand, and how quickly you want it to sell.

Before your listing goes live, it must be approved by Curvy Missfits Closet.

Listing approval helps us make sure each listing includes the required information, uses clear photos, and fits the purpose of the marketplace. This helps reduce incomplete listings, fake listings, spam, and items that do not align with Curvy Missfits Closet.

Once your listing is approved, it becomes visible on Curvy Missfits Closet.

Shoppers can view your item, read the description, check the size and condition, review the shipping fee, and purchase through the marketplace.

Sellers are also responsible for setting the shipping fee for each listing. Your shipping fee should include the estimated cost of postage, packaging, and any related shipping materials.

Pickup may also be available as an option if the seller chooses to offer it. If you offer pickup, please review the pickup guidelines before arranging pickup with a buyer.
