Curvy Missfits Closet Returns, Refunds & Disputes Policy

Effective Date: July 16, 2026 Curvy Missfits Closet is an online marketplace operated by The Black Lotus Bodycare Company Inc. Most items sold through the marketplace are offered by independent sellers. This policy explains how returns, refunds, cancellations and disputes are handled.

1. Before You Purchase

Please review each listing carefully before completing your purchase.

Be sure to review:

  • Item description
  • Size and measurements
  • Condition
  • Photographs
  • Shipping information
  • Seller's return information (if applicable)

If you have questions about an item, contact the seller before purchasing.

2. Change of Mind & Fit

Because Curvy Missfits Closet specializes in pre-loved clothing, purchases are generally considered final.

Refunds or returns are not normally available because:

  • you changed your mind;
  • item doesn't fit as expected;
  • you no longer want the item;
  • you found a similar item elsewhere; or
  • you dislike the colour or style after delivery,

provided the item was accurately described.

3. When a Refund or Return May Be Considered

A refund or return request may be considered if:

  • the wrong item was received;
  • the item was significantly different from the listing;
  • important damage or defects were not disclosed;
  • the seller failed to ship the item;
  • the shipment was confirmed lost;
  • the item is reasonably believed to be counterfeit; or
  • another significant marketplace issue occurred.

Each request is reviewed individually.

4. How to Request a Refund or Report a Problem

If you believe you qualify for a cancellation, return or refund, contact Curvy Missfits Closet as soon as possible.

Refunds and cancellations are handled by the Marketplace Administrator.

Buyers and sellers cannot process refunds themselves.

Please include: *your order or transaction number;

  • the email address associated with your account;
  • a description of the issue;
  • photographs (if applicable); and
  • any supporting documentation that may help us review your request.

5. Refund Review Process

After receiving your request, Curvy Missfits Closet will:

  • review the transaction;
  • review any supporting documentation;
  • communicate with the buyer and seller if necessary;
  • determine whether a refund or return is appropriate; and provide next steps.

Additional information may be requested before a decision is made.

6. Do Not Return an Item Until Authorized

Do not return an item unless Curvy Missfits Closet has authorized the return.

Unauthorized returns may delay or affect the outcome of your request.

7. Return Shipping

If a return is approved:

  • sent the wrong item;
  • significantly misrepresented the item; or
  • failed to accurately describe the item,

the seller will generally be responsible for reasonable return shipping costs.

Buyer Change of Mind

If the seller voluntarily accepts a return because of:

  • change of mind; or
  • sizing or fit,

the buyer will generally be responsible for return shipping costs unless the seller agrees otherwise.

Curvy Missfits Closet may determine responsibility for return shipping based on the circumstances of each transaction.

8. Marketplace Refunds

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the buyer's original payment method through Stripe.

Refund processing times depend on the buyer's financial institution and payment provider.

9. Transaction Timing

Refund requests should be submitted as soon as possible.

Because Sharetribe only allows marketplace refunds before a transaction is marked as completed, delays in reporting a problem may affect the refund process.

We encourage buyers to inspect their purchases promptly after delivery.

10. Fraudulent or Abusive Claims

Curvy Missfits Closet reserves the right to deny refund requests that are fraudulent, misleading or abusive.

Examples include:

  • false claims of non-delivery;
  • returning a different item;
  • intentionally damaging an item;
  • submitting false information;
  • abusing the dispute process; or
  • filing fraudulent payment disputes.

Accounts may be restricted or suspended for fraudulent activity.
