Items That Cannot Be Sold

Sellers must not submit:

• counterfeit, replica or imitation designer goods;

• stolen items or items the seller does not legally own;

• recalled, unsafe or hazardous products;

• items prohibited by law or by our payment providers;

• weapons, ammunition or weapon accessories; drugs, cannabis, alcohol, tobacco, vaping products or related items;

• prescription medication, medical devices or health products;

• cosmetics, skincare, perfume or personal-care products that are opened, used, expired or improperly labelled;

• used underwear or intimate items that create hygiene concerns;

• containing bodily fluids, mould, pests, strong odours or other contamination;

• clothing with undisclosed stains, holes, damage or alterations;

• items bearing hate symbols, discriminatory messages or content promoting violence;

• sexually explicit products or content;

• counterfeit event tickets, gift cards, digital accounts or virtual goods;

• products that infringe copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual-property rights;

• items unrelated to the approved CMC fashion marketplace; or anything CMC reasonably determines may create a safety, legal, payment-processing or reputational risk.

Seller Responsibility

Sellers are responsible for confirming that every submitted item:

• is authentic;
• is legally owned by the seller;
• is safe to sell;
• has not been recalled;
• complies with applicable laws;
• and is accurately described.

Health Canada prohibits the sale or redistribution of consumer products recalled because they pose a danger to health or safety.

Listing Review

CMC may reject, request changes to, hide or remove any listing at its discretion.

CMC may also request:

• additional photographs;
• proof of purchase;
• proof of authenticity;
• product labels;
• serial numbers;
• or other information needed to review an item.

Approval of a listing does not constitute a guarantee of authenticity, safety, condition or legal compliance.

Repeated submission of prohibited or misleading items may result in seller restrictions, suspension or termination.
